It was a fine day yesterday. The sun was shining in the sky. I went boating by myself. I didn’t make any friends with me because I wanted to enjoy being alone.

I hired a boat at the boat landing-place. As soon as I got onto the boat, I began to row slowly to the center of the lake. A fresh breeze was blowing, fish were swimming, and birds were singing. When I reached the center, I pulled out the paddles and lay down in the boat. With the blue sky above me and the green water around me, I was more relaxed than I had ever been before. I really enjoyed myself. I was in such a happy mood that I felt I was merging with nature. Before I realized, more than two hours had gone by. I arrived home very late. I didn’t feel tired in the least, for I had really had a good time.
